Petaluma Blacks for Community Development

PBCD has honored Black history and built community in Sonoma County since 1977 — a legacy that needed to read as living and current, not archival. Leading brand refresh and web design through The Design Guild, I worked closely with the organization's team to modernize the visual identity while protecting the history and meaning already carried in it, then built a Squarespace 7.1 site in Fluid Engine with custom CSS that the team could manage themselves — event calendars, news, and program pages included — without needing a developer for every update.
